Additional Job Highlights
The Project Captain is the drafting team leader for a specific project or projects. The Project Captain is responsible for drafting and managing the contract documents in all phases of a project. Primary Responsibilities: Produce Contract Documents with the guidance of the Project Manager while meeting project deadlines. Develop details within the parameters of the project budget with guidance from the Project Architect. Assists in obtaining information from project meetings. Estimate labor-hours for projects. Research and implement Code Requirements. Coordinate information with related engineering disciplines. Assist with editing specifications related to the architectural working drawings. Manage draftspersons assigned to specific project. Gather information from job sites. Assist in reviewing architectural shop drawings and other construction administration duties. Visit job sites and review construction for conformance to plans and specifications. Implement company Auto CAD, Revit and graphic standards. Maintain internal project binders, manuals, and project files. Maintain communication with Project Manager, Architect and Team on progress of the project
