Additional Job Highlights
The Project Manager is responsible for the pursuit, acquisition, and management of Federal sector projects contributing to Raba-Kistners growth in the public sector. The Project Manager will be a seller-doer responsible for helping establish policies, relationships and acquisition and execution practices, strategies and procedures; executing those strategies with the goal of acquiring public sector contracts. The project manager will use good project management practices to plan, organize, direct and control projects using a team of functional experts, subcontractors, and teaming members. The Project Manager will assist with the development of strategic and tactical marketing and sales plans, development of Federal sector marketing strategies and material, and will establish and maintain relationships with federal customers and contractors. The Project Manager, with assistance from the Director of Federal Services, will identify pursuit opportunities, develop teaming strategies, participate in the production of proposals and submittal materials, participate in interviews and meetings with team members and clients and any appropriate client-required meetings. The Project Manager will work closely with the President, Chief Operating Officer, and Director of Federal Services in arriving at major project decisions and will communicate initiatives and pursuits on a regular basis. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical or environmental engineering, architecture, or related technical or management degree. Experience with AFCEE and Army Corp of Engineers desired.
